In a few short hours today (9/19/25), I’ll be hiding these four Lovebeans around the French Quarter. Usually, I hide these as conspicuously as I can. That is, I make them easy to see. Today, I’m going to hide them a little better to make them more difficult to find.

Lovebean # 201
The first will be somewhere along the shopping centers of which Cafe Du Monde is a part, near the statue of Joan of Arc. Walk to Decatur St, navigate around the road construction to that side of the street, and good hunting!
Lovebean # 205
To hide the second, I’ll ride my bike down to Canal St (on the FQ side). I’ll hide it on a bike rack outside of the Marriott Hotel.
Lovebean # 206
Then I will ride to Bourbon & Bienville to the Royal Sonesta (the hotel with the “DESIRE” lights.
Lovebean # 207
Finally, I’ll continue down Bourbon to Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar and hide one near there (not inside).
The Special Charm
But that’s not all. Before heading home, I’m going to stop by Congo Square and hide this big boy under one of the benches.

This 3-magnet, 3-bottle cap jar lid is one of the special charms I made for last Mardi Gras but didn’t get a chance to give it to someone. While I’m ramping up for next Mardi Gras, I’ll be hiding these old larger ones around the city!
Good luck hunting!
